It is for a very personal reason that Elizabeth Cantu is on a mission.  It is to bring smiles to little boys and girls that would otherwise not have a gift for Christmas!  Why? Because her and her simblings used to be one of them! 

"We never forgot where we came from.  We were a family of 10 living in the projects in Port Lavaca, Tx," she recalls.  "My parents tried not to make a big deal of it, but we knew that it was a struggle for them." 

She knew that her parents were stretching their funds to make them last to the end of the month.  Even through those tough days, they still managed to sneak gifts under the tree for Christmas morning.  The local church always gave a lending hand and now you could do the same thing too!
